Externships

We are currently accepting 3rd and 4th year veterinary students wishing to do a 2-4 week externship.  The goal of our externship program is to expose students to general practice, surgery, and diagnostic procedures.  Externs participate in daily cases, emergencies, and assist during surgeries.  Externs also present a short case work-up during weekly rounds.  Housing is provided.  Please submit a resume to Dr. Steve Damonte (docddvm@aol.com) or Dr. Joe Coli (jcolidvm@aol.com) if interested in visiting the practice. 

Internships

Comstock Large Animal Hospital is a member of the AAEP Avenues program.  We offer a year long internship position that focuses on general practice, emergencies, surgery, and anesthesia with exposure to reproduction, dentistry, radiology and practice management.  Please see our informational page on the Avenues database for information on applying, breakdown of case load, and benefits or submit a resume to Dr. Steve Damonte (docddvm@aol.com) or Dr. Joe Coli (jcolidvm@aol.com) .
