Joseph M. Coli, DVM
President, Owner Email: jcolidvm@aol.com Dr. Joe Coli is a native of Verdi, Nevada. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1981. He currently resides in Reno with his wife, Jody, and their two children, Kristina and Steven. He is an active member of the Reno Rodeo Association and a past president of the Nevada Veterinary Medical Association. His personal hobbies include archery, hunting, karate, and horsepacking.

Stephen C. Damonte, DVM
Vice President, Owner Email: docddvm@aol.com Dr. Steve Damonte is a native of Reno, Nevada. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1991. He currently resides in Reno with his daughter Jenna. He is a volunteer with the Reno Rodeo Association and past president of the Nevada Veterinary Medical Association and Washoe County Farm Bureau. His personal hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, running and skiing.

Shane M. Miller, DVM, Dipl. ACVS
Boarded Equine Surgeon Email: docdvmshane@msn.com Dr. Shane Miller is a native of Minden, NV. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 1992. Following a year long internship at Littleton Large Animal Hospital Equine Clinic, Dr. Miller completed his equine surgery residency at University of California-Davis in 1996. He subsequently returned to Littleton Large Animal Clinic Equine Hospital in 1997. Dr. Miller became board certified in equine surgery from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1998. While at Littleton Equine Medical Center, Dr. Miller served as CEO and Chief of Surgery.
Dr. Miller lives in Gardnerville with his wife Kristin and their three children Peyton, Camden, and Landin. Dr. Miller's professional interests lie in soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries with an emphasis in arthroscopy, laparoscopy and fracture repair. He also has a clinical interest in lameness and prepurchase exams. He has written articles in Veterinary Surgery Journal, Equine Veterinary Journal, Journal of American Veterinary Medical Association and many lay journals. Dr. Miller has also presented numerous surgical and lameness topics both nationally and internationally. His hobbies include cycling, triathlons, and golfing.

Elisabeth M. Lau, DVM
Associate Email: betsylaudvm@yahoo.com Dr. Betsy Lau is a native of North Little Rock, Arkansas. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2007. She completed her internship with us in May of 2008 and stayed on as an associate veterinarian. She is a member of the AAEP, American Association for Small Ruminant Practitioners and Society for Theriogenology. Her professional interests include dentistry, small ruminants, and reproduction. Her hobbies include cooking, hiking and kayaking with her French Bulldog Gus, and watching Razorback football and basketball.

Sadie B. Myers-Miller, DVM

Dr. Myers-Miller moved to Reno with her husband Clint. Following completion of her internship, Dr. Myers-Miller stayed on with Comstock Equine Hospital as an associate. Her professional interests include sports medicine, general surgery, and reproduction. Her hobbies include roping, spending time with her husband, and working with her German Shorthair Pointers.

Associate Email: erinpricedvm@gmail.com Dr. Erin Price is a native of Reno, Nevada. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2009. Dr. Price completed a one year equine surgery and lameness internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in June. She returned to Reno with her husband Jonathan following her internship. Her professional interests include lameness, surgery, and alternative therapies. Her hobbies are pleasure riding, training horses, skiing, and enjoying the great outdoors, especially Lake Tahoe, with her husband and their labrador Linkin.

He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2011. Dr. McQuirk moved to Reno and is completing a one year internship with Comstock Equine Hospital. His professional interests include surgery, lameness, reproduction, and neonatology. His hobbies include camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and watching the San Francisco Giants, UNR Wolfpack, and WSU Cougars. Welcome Dr. McQuirk!

Licensed Veterinary Technician Meghan is a native of Reno, Nevada. She received her Associate Degree of Veterinary Technology from Truckee Meadows Community College in 2008. Meghan lives in Carson City with her husband Tom. She is interested in lameness diagnostics and therapies. Her personal interests include riding her horses with her husband, playing with her dogs, and barrel racing.

Licensed Veterinary Technician Wendy is a native of Eureka, Nevada. She received her Associate Degree of Equine Science from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming and her Associate of Veterinary Technology from Community College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2000. Wendy lives in Gardnerville with her two border collies Sadie and Boo. Her professional interests are anesthesia and radiology. In her down time, Wendy is an amazing animal photographer.
