Jamie Frayne

Hospital Manager
Jamie is a native of Tonopah, Nevada. She graduated from UC Davis with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She became a licensed veterinary technician in 2008. She worked at the veterinary teaching hospital at UC Davis, Cotati Large Animal Hospital in Cotati, California, and Elko Veterinary Clinic before joining the Comstock team. Her professional goal is to become a certified veterinary practice manager. In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her dog Dumplin, playing volleyball, camping, hunting, and anything that takes her outdoors.
Morgan Passow
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Morgan is a native of Reno, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Science and a Minor in Biology at University of Nevada Reno. She has been a member of the Comstock Equine Hospital team since 2015. Her professional interests include anesthesia, neonatal care, and intensive/critical care. Morgan is the regional contact for the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians. In her free time, Morgan enjoys reading, traveling to Disneyland and Disney World, singing, and spending time with her husband Kevin.
Wendy Wyatt
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Wendy is from Eureka, Nevada. She obtained her associate degree of veterinary technology from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She received her license at College of Southern Nevada. Wendy has worked for several large equine practices including Desert Pines Equine Medical & Surgical Center in Las Vegas and Weatherford Equine in Weatherford, Texas. Her professional interests include anesthesia, intensive care nursing, and wound management. In her free time, Wendy is an amazing photographer and enjoys hiking with her dogs.
Valerie Foley
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Valerie is a native of Las Vegas. She obtained her associate degree of veterinary technology from Truckee Meadows Community College in 2021. She completed her externship with us and stayed on after she passed her board exams. Her professional interests include nursing care, equine orthopedics and musculoskeletal injuries, ruminant medicine, and dermatology. In her free time, Valerie enjoys Olympic weight lifting at Calavera Barbell, disc golf, traveling, and spending time with her pocket pittie Legolas, her snakes Hugo and Walter, and her bearded dragon Smaug.
Karen Beckett
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Karen is a native of Placerville, California. She earned her Bachelor's Degree of Science in Veterinary Sciences from Univeristy of Nevada Reno. She passed her Veterinary Technician National Examination in 2023. Her professional interests include emergency medicine and equine sports medicine. In her free time, Karen enjoys horseback riding her Quarter Horse Artie, hiking with her dog Voodoo, singing, and spending time with her kitty Primula.
